Position: Administrative Assistant
Full time (37.5 hours each week). Monday to Friday, daytime. 9am to 5pm
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Start date: estimated September 29th, 2025.
This is a hybrid position with in-office work required. (First three months in person is required)
Our offices are located in Kanata, Ontario.

Required
Administrative experience in a front office (3 years)
Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams, Sharepoint and Outlook
Familiar with social media, such as Meta (Facebook Business)
Communication skills, verbal and written
Organization skills
Candidates will have an advantage if they have:
Mac computer experience
Mailchimp and Canva experience
Experience with administration for charitable organizations
Experience in fund-raising and event organization
Experience with autism
In this job, you will:
- be working in a busy, shared environment
- assisting in organizing two annual fundraisers, including an online auction and golf tournaments
- acting as a liaison and point of contact for our programs
- speaking with families who have concerns about their child's development and providing them with information about our services
- creating and sending out our monthly newsletter
- providing support and guidance for families using our services and ensuring all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and on-time
- provide incoming and outgoing communications through the phone and email with clients, vendors, donors, families, and colleagues in a timely, sensitive, confidential and professional manner.
- creating and maintaining accurate spreadsheets
- create and proofread documents such as public notices and program documents
- manage and coordinate day-to-day office operations
- collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and enhance overall efficiency
- create and post in the company's social media
