Founders Suzanne and Jake Jacobson cover all the operational expenses of QuickStart so that one hundred percent of every donation received goes fully to the children!
QuickStart helps fund the Getting Started Services Clinic which is now seeing 150 children annually, all at no cost to the families. It is the only pre-diagnosis clinic in Canada. There are seven health care professionals working at the clinic. Our goal is to continue expanding the services the clinic offers so all children will have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
QuickStart will soon be launching their new ReFresh ReStart program which offers parents a weekend away so they can rest, relax and get a break. QuickStart is asking local hotels to donate a weekend of their choice for our program. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to help towards the parents cost of childcare and meals while they are away.
