Parents of children who have autism are exhausted. Every step of the way it's a battle from the time you first become concerned, to trying to find funding to provide early intervention for your child, to getting your child in school and on it goes.
Many children with autism do not qualifly for local respite programs.
QuickStart would like to provide an opportunity for parents to ReFresh, ReStart with QuickStart.
We are asking hotels to offer complimentary weekend stays (one or two nights) for parents of children with autism. We don't mind when in the year the stay is offered. What is important is that the parents get an opportunity to relax and and rest.
Parents will be selected on a first come, first served basis along with their doctor's recommendation for the ReFresh ReStart with QuickStart Program. Proof of the child's diagnosis of autism will also be required.
