Tikko Travels Dorian's Story is supporting QuickStart - Early Intervention for Autism

The Terra Cotta Community Centre is proud to be hosting one of the book readings and signing for the launch of Tikko Travels Dorian’s Story on Saturday, June 17th from 10:00 am to 1pm.

The author, Christine Frances Poe, will be reading "TIKKO TRAVELS Dorian's Story", an inspirational, true tale of a little polar bear travelling for autism awareness; and the 9 year old boy on the spectrum (from Burlington, ON) who dreamt of making the world a better place for families living with autism.  It’s a journey of HOPE, COMPASSION & COURAGE.  This is “Dorian’s Story.”  Christine Frances Poe is the proud Mom of Dorian.

Christine grew up in the Georgetown area and is delighted to have one of her book readings and signings in the area where she grew up and has such fond memories. 

Proceeds from sales of the book help fund Tikko’s world-wide travels where he’s visited 54 countries since 2013.  Books can be purchased at the event at a cost of $20, per book. $3.00 in proceeds from every book sold at the signing at the Terra Cotta Community Centre will go to support QuickStart - Early Intervention for Autism.

Where:  Terra Cotta Community Centre, 18 High Street in historic Terra Cotta, Ontario

When:  June 17th, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Who and What:  All  area residents from surrounding communities are welcome.  In addition we are delighted to host any children with their families and any children’s groups/activities who would like to attend to hear Christine read Tikko Travels Dorian’s Story.  Refreshments will be served.

The Terra Cotta Community Centre is a historical building that was originally built in 1862.
