Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre receives funding to reduce wait times

Minister of Children and Youth Services Minister, Laurel Broten, recently announced that new funding will be allocated to the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre. OCTC will receive and additional $909,000.00 in 2010-11 and this money will be used to help children with special needs succeed by reducing wait times for specialized therapies and programs. This investment is part of $9 million per year for the next three years that will support 20 centres across Ontario.

"Children's treatment centres are an important part of how Ontario is helping young people with disabilities and special needs achieve their full potential. This additional investment will help serve more children faster, as close to home as possible."
